Whosoever Talks : Meeting with the Beloved ~ The Passivity Series

Whosoever's first 40-day meditation intensive was a surprise
not only for those who love him, but also for himself.
There were around 70 of us,
way more than he had expected. 

This was the retreat where he first shared, or where one first heard of,
the Passivity Sutra.
Remain passive to floating thoughts,
the mental noise that takes you away from the space of being...
he would often say during this retreat.
"Sit with the mind. Have tea with it. Don't be afraid," he would urge. 

Whosoever had also devised meditations to assist the process. 

This little excerpt is from his afternoon Q&A session
that has helped many of us in the retreats that followed,
and in times when one has been heartbroken.

acceptance is the miracle.

whosoever on social networking

before this blog, a facebook page and a you-tube channel was started, 
there was a discussion with whosoever whether to put energy 
into these social networking ventures or not.

since whosoever is not a computer savvy person, he was given a ‘tour’ 
of what facebook looks like, what tweeter is, what a blog can do.

his insight after seeing all these was quite interesting… rather shocking.

as it is remembered, he said…

all these platforms are for people to spit it out and then there are others who lick it. all these activities on the social networking are done by the people who simply cannot be with themselves or what they are doing, who cannot tolerate themselves 
‘as they are’… and so they need to show the rest of the world that ‘i also exist’… 
by attracting attention of other people, known or unknown… 
even if it means to put in the status like ‘oh, i had a burger today, 
I vomited it all out, I am not feeling well now.’ 

and then there are people who comment on these kind of things, 
like or dislike such stuff. people who are psychologically lonely,
people who haven’t developed the art to relate with the real world,
people who haven’t grown the courage to face their own stuff,
people who don’t know how to be with themselves… 
become victims of such social networks, simply to escape their ownself.

it was rather shocking and shattering how he perceived 
such a huge and widely spread phenomenon on the internet… 
and it could not be denied also, if carefully looked at.

but of course, a wise one always sees the full picture.

a wise one does not discard something and accepts only something else.

he later went on to saying…

it does not mean it is a useless platform. it has actually an immense potential. specially for the world of spirituality, for the world of seekers, aspirants of truth and those who are in the search of real.

such mediums have a great potential to reach to those beyond the boundaries… provided some meaningful, essential and spiritually nourishing material is shared with them, so that their beings can be nourished and uplifted, so that they can come closer to the real, so that they can have a chance to assimilate wisdom from the awakened ones in their daily lives. a proper healthy and constructive use of these mediums can really benefit the whole humanity. 

every media has its right and wrong use. media has immense power to reach and affect people, but mostly it is used for personal, political or corporate benefit and never in the healthy interest of the society and people. if media is used to awaken people, to make them more aware, more sensitive, things will be so much different. 

a fresh example of a very effective use of media is satyamev jayate,
a talk show from aamir khan, which got an overwhelming response from the people of india. it made people think, contemplate, reconsider many things which they have been doing unconsciously, insensitively. 

though the issues discussed were more social based, still probably for the first time in the history of indian television and probably in the history of the whole world media, there was a proper constructive use of a media to awaken people’s psyche. 

same way, spiritually there is so much possibilities to share the highest wisdom from the awakened ones, with those people who are in search for something meaningful. 
to provide the proper knowledge, proper guidance and proper understanding, 
these mediums can play an amazing role, eventually to raise the
consciousness of the planet.

and so, it was decided to start a facebook page, a blog, a you-tube channel… 
coming from someone, who has basically no need at all to ‘network socially’… because he is directly ‘connected with the ultimate network’… 
because he knows his true nature. 

in the facebook language, he knows his ‘supreme absolute status’…
which has been ‘updated’… and yet it keeps on ‘updating’, 
since a wise one knows that the real learning starts after the awakening.

from that ‘absolute status’…  
whatever he will ‘upload’, whatever he will ‘share’, whatever he will ‘blog’… 
will immensely help those ‘googlers’ of truth.
